'Tal der Skorpione' erzählt von einem gnadenlosen Spiel in der Wildnis, wo kriminelle Psychopathen gegeneinander ums Überleben kämpfen müssen. Urheber dieses Gladiatorenkampfes sind die größenwahnsinnigen Wissenschaftler Gebrüder Ribbeck, die aus den Genen des Siegers einen Übermenschen klonen wollen. Zufällig findet sich auch der Polizist Leon Kamarowski (Bartholomäus Kowalski) im 'Tal der Skorpione' wieder und ist gezwungen, den Kampf gegen seine bis an die Zähne bewaffneten Kontrahenten aufzunehmen...
In 'Tal der Skorpione' (2019) lädt Regisseur Patrick Roy Beckert das Publikum ein auf eine abenteuerliche, skurrile Reise voller Thrills, schwarzem Humor, Action, Blut und derben Sprüchen - eine Offenbarung für alle Fans des Genres und ein kurioses Filmhighlight mit Kultpotenzial. Die Haupt- und Nebenrollen sind mit prominenten Genre-Altstars besetzt. Erwähnenswert ist vor allem, dass hier nach 38 Jahren erstmals eine Wiedervereinigung der Mannschaft aus Wolfgang Petersens Klassiker 'Das Boot' stattfindet: Ralf Richter (aus 'Bang Boom Bang'), Martin Semmelrogge und Claude-Oliver Rudolph ('James Bond 007 - Die Welt ist nicht genug') treffen im 'Tal der Skorpione' aufeinander. Darüber hinaus wurde die Rolle des Oberschurken mit Mathieu Carrière ('Ein Mann will nach oben', 'Die flambierte Frau', 'Der Alte', 'SOKO Leipzig') besetzt. Abgerundet wird das prominente Ensemble durch Celebrity-Girl Micaela Schäfer ('GNTM') und Mathieus Tochter und GNTM-Finalistin Elena Carrière. Daneben spielen bekannte Gesichter wie Bert Wollersheim ('Das Sommerhaus der Stars'), Taynara Joy ('Alles oder nichts', 'GNTM'), Uwe Fellensiek ('Manta, Manta', 'SK Kölsch'), Anouschka Renzi ('Verbotene Liebe'), Dirc Simpson ('Alarm für Cobra 11'), Mascha von Kreisler ('Der Lehrer') und Newcomer wie Bartholomäus Kowalski, Nazif Kiliç und Curd Berger. Auch im kreativen Team jenseits der Kamera wartet 'Tal der Skorpione' mit angesehenen Namen auf. So wurde der Titelsong 'Alive' von der australischen Popsängerin Coby Grant komponiert und interpretiert, die als Kandidatin bei 'The Voice of Germany' Popularität erlangte. Darüber hinaus wird auf dem Soundtrack Schuberts 'Ave Maria' von der neunzehnjährigen Opernsängerin Sophie Schwerthöffer gesungen, die 2013 als Finalistin der RTL-Show 'Das Supertalent' für Furore sorgte und als Junior Botschafterin der Peter-Ustinov-Stiftung tätig ist. Die 'Busch Media Group' brachte das 'Tal der Skorpione' am 20. Juni 2019 in die deutschen Kinos.

'Valley of the Scorpions' tells the story of a merciless game in the wilderness, where criminal psychopaths have to fight each other for survival. The main and supporting roles are cast with prominent genre veterans.
